  9. NOTE 1:    Documentation is not included in this archive as it is
  10.     available from the above Web Site.

  12. NOTE 2:    As the ActiveX interface for this control changed with
  13.     Version 2.0, it is not binary compatible with previous
  14.     versions. The OCX file is now called TrayIcn2.ocx, so
  15.     that it can exist in the same directory as version 1.x
  16.     of the control. The interface change means that
  17.         existing projects will need to be changed, as
  18.         parameters are now passed By Value (some parameters
  19.         were passed by reference in version 1.x). See the
  20.         control history page for more information.

  22. If you have Internet Explorer 3 or higher, you can let it install
  23. the control for you by pointing your browser at http://www.devpower.com
  24.  
  25. However, if you don't have IE, follow these steps to install;
  26.  
  27. (1)    You will need the Visual Basic 5.0 Service Pack 3 Runtime Files.
  28.     If you don't have these already, you can get them from:
  29.         ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/simtelnet/win95/dll/vb5rtsp3.zip
  30.  
  31. (2)    Register the components by running the install.bat batch file
  32.  
  33. The inclusion of RegSvr32.exe may annoy some of you, but is needed for
  34. easy installation for those who don't have the program on their path.
  35.
